
Arts Council Debuts The Whistle Pig Vol. 17

The Mountain Home Arts Council will debut the seventeenth volume of Idaho’s literary journal The Whistle Pig on Friday, Oct. 10, during the Fall Coffee House at the Mountain Home Public Library. This year’s volume features writing and visual art on the theme of The Power of Place. The program will be highlighted by author readings and visual art displays, and refreshments will be served. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the program will begin at 7 pm. The Whistle Pig ($20) showcases select local writers and artists and is published annually by the Literary Arts Committee of the Mountain Home Arts Council.
